Tips:

  •     In the normal water bath for your dog, add another 1 tablespoon of baking soda. The coat of your dog will always be shiny and soft. You can also use the 'dry' wash, so sprinkle baking soda directly on and in the coat. And then rub with a brush to remove all baking soda.

  •     Dog bed, wash as normal in the washing machine, whereby add to the rinsing water 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

  •    Sprinkle dog's hut with baking soda, leave for half an hour and vacuum.

  •     Plastic toys plunge into the water, into which you have added 2 tablespoons of baking soda per liter of water. Scrub with brush and rinse in clean water. Alternatively, you can use the "dry" method, toys sprinkle with baking soda, leave for a few hours and then with a brush to remove any baking soda.

Cats and odors

"Dry wash" coat, which we described in the care of dogs, it is quite suitable for cats, especially those with long hair. In this case, for the removal of bicarbonate instead of the brush you could use the vacuum cleaner on batteries, whose sound cats normally not bothered.

If your cat has the habit of sleeping on couches and armchairs, to remove odors you can use baking soda. Sprinkle it on the sofa or armchair, leave for half an hour and then vacuumed.

What about hamsters, birds and other pets?

Do you have in your house the hamster, bird or other animal? Even in this case, sodium bicarbonate is your indispensable ally in the fight against odor.

Tips:

  •     To prevent unpleasant odors in litters sprinkle a layer of baking soda (1 cup) at the bottom of the cage and cover it with a layer of sand (or other suitable material).

  •     To prevent odors regularly sprinkle the bottom of the cage with a small amount of baking soda and cover it with a conventional material recommended for your pet.
